Tsuruoka Tourist Information Center 鶴岡市観光案内所

Find tourist brochures, bus information, posters and even goodies (stamp-rally towels, postcards, little souvenirs…) at our Tourist Information Center. We have an English speaking staff at the desk and will be glad to help you navigate through our city to reach your goal.
The Tourist Information Center is located on the 1st floor of a building called “FOODEVER”, in front of the train station (on your left side when you get out of the station).

FOODEVER also has lockers and restrooms.

Bicycle rental 2024

At the tourist information center, we offer free bicycle rentals for our sightseeing guests. Rentals are available for the day only. Please return the bicycle to the same location where you borrowed it.
*Please present a form of identification when borrowing.

●Rental Period: Mid-March to late November
*Rentals for 2024 will commence from March 20th (Wednesday)
●Rental Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
●Number of Bicycles Available: 20

●Adult-sized bicycles only.
●Advance reservations are not accepted. Unfortunately, if all items are on loan, they cannot be checked out.

●Please observe the traffic rules in Japan.
●No rentals are available from December to March during the winter season.
●The rental period may vary depending on snow conditions.
